Quick-Step Floors’ Fernando Gaviria won the 134.5km first stage of the Tour of California in Long Beach yesterday.
The Colombian completed the stage in 3:02:23, beating Mitchelton-Scott’s Caleb Ewan (Australia) and Bora-Hansgrohe’s Peter Sagan (Slovakia) in a sprint.
