Gert Heyns and Amy McDougall both won the 45km second stage and with it the overall titles of the Bezhoek Extreme MTB Festival when the race concluded at the Bezhuidenhoutshoek Nature Reserve today.
Heyns completed the stage in 2:04:50, beating Christo Carelsen and Andre Potgieter into second and third respectively.

McDougall won the women’s race in 2:12:06. She beat Robyn de Groot and Sarah Hill into second and third respectively.
