Alan Hatherly won the fourth SA MTB Cup Series XCO event at Mankele MTB Park in Mbombela yesterday.
Hatherly won his third event of the season, completing the seven-lap course in 1:18:42. Stuart Marais followed in second just over minutes later, with Wessel Botha rounding out the podium.

Candice Lill won the elite women’s race in 1:22:13, beating Mariske Strauss into second. Sarah Hill came home in third.
