LottoNL-Jumbo’s Primož Roglic won the fifth and final stage and with it the overall title of the Tour de Slovenia in Novo Mesto today.
The Slovakian won the 21.5km individual time-trial in a time of 24:46, comfortably beating compatriot CCC Sprandi Polkowice’s Jan Tratnik by 24 seconds. Elkov Author Cycling Team’s Josef Cerny (Czech Republic) completed the podium.

Roglic won the tour with a final general classification time of 15:18:13. Team EF Education First-Drapac p/b Cannondale’s Rigoberto Uran (Colombia) finished second and Bahrain Merida Pro Cycling Team’s Matej Mohoric third.
