UAE Emirates’ Simone Consonni won the 159km opening stage of the Tour de Slovenia in Murska Sobota today.
The Italian completed the race in 3:32:05, beating compatriots Bora–Hansgrohe’s Matteo Pelucchi and Bahrain–Merida’s Niccolò Bonifazio in a sprint.
