BMC Racing’s Richie Porte won the Tour de Suisse following the ninth and final individual time-trial stage in Bellinzona today.
The Australian finished with a final general classification time of 29:28:05, over a minute clear from Astana Pro’s Jakob Fuglsang (Denmark) in second.

Porte’s teammate Stefan Küng (Switzerland) won the last stage with a time of 39:44, comfortably beating Team Sunweb’s Søren Kragh Andersen (Denmark) by 19 seconds. BMC Racing’s Tejay van Garderen (USA) rounded out the podium.
