South Africa’s Ashleigh Moolman-Pasio finished second on the 15km seventh stage individual time-trial of the Giro Rosa yesterday.
Cervelo Bigla Pro’s Moolman-Pasio completed the mountain route in 48:35, finished almost two-and-a-half minutes behind Mitchelton Scott’s Annemiek van Vleuten. Team Sunweb’s Lucinda Brand finished third.

The result moved Moolman-Pasio up to third on the general classification standings behind Mitchelton Scott’s Amanda Spratt and Van Vleuten in second and third respectively.
