Stuart Marais and Frances Janse van Rensburg won the 40km feature of the Gooderson Leisure MTB Challenge in Underberg, KwaZulu-Natal, yesterday.
Marais completed the race in 2:01:56, beating Julian Jessop and Andrew Johnson into second and third respectively.

Janse van Rensburg won the women’s race in 2:33:17. Christie-Leigh Hearder finished second and Nadine Nunes third.
Jordan Brandon Bold (59:33) and Emily van Heerden (1:10:57) won the men’s and women’s 20km race.
