Team Ireland’s Shay Donnelly sprinted to victory on the 94.6km second stage of the Junior Tour of Ireland in West Clare yesterday.
Donnelly completed the race in 2:15:40, beating Team Swift’s Luke Lamperti and Tempo-Hoppenbrouwers’ Ian Spenkelink in a sprint finish.

Hot Tubes’ Magnus Sheffield retained his race lead, eight seconds clear from Team South Africa’s Rickardo Broxham in second. Broxham finished eighth on stage two.
