Tour de France results & GC: Fernando Gaviria sprints to stage four victory

Colombian Fernando Gaviria won the 195km fourth stage of the Tour de France that finished in Sarzeau today.

The Quick-Step Floors rider won in a time of 4:25:01 and was followed home by Bora-Hansgrohe’s Peter Sagan and Lotto Soudal’s André Greipel.

Fourth place went to LottoNL-Jumbo’s Dylan Groenewegen, while Katusha-Alpecin’s Marcel Kittel completed the top five.

BMC’s Greg Van Avermaet finished safely in the peloton to keep his overall lead. His teammate Tejay van Garderen was in second, with Team Sky’s Geraint Thomas in third.
