Team Sunweb’s Tom Dumoulin won the 20th stage individual time-trial of the Tour de France in Espelette today.
The Dutchman completed the 31km course in a time of 40:52, one second clear of Team Sky’s Chris Froome in second. Yellow jersey Geraint Thomas of Team Sky rounded out the podium another 13 seconds later.

Thomas retained his race lead and placed one hand on this year’s Tour title ahead of the 21st and final stage tomorrow. Dumoulin remained in second, with Froome moving again up to third, with LottoNL-Jumbo’s Primoz Roglic dropping to fourth.
