Corendon-Circus’ Mathieu van der Poel won the 190.5km opening stage of the Arctic Race of Norway in Kirkenes today.
The Dutchman completed the stage in 3:50:19, beating Astana Pro’s Sergei Chernetski and Sport Vlaanderen-Baloise’s Benjamin Declercq in a sprint.
