He completed the 27.2km route in a time of 38:48.

The race was won by Netherlands’ Daniel Abraham Gebru, who finished in 33:26.
Brazil’s Lauro Cesar Mouro Chaman placed second after 34:07, with Ukraine’s Yehor Dementyev third in 34:15.
