South Africa’s Jayde Julius came second on the 95.1km fifth stage of the Tour du Rwanda in Rubavu today.
Julius was beaten in the final sprint by Team Embrace the World’s Julian Hellmann in a time of 2:27:34. Team Novo Nordisk’s David Lozano Riba completed the podium two seconds later.

Finishing in the bunch, Rwanda’s Samuel Mugisha retained his race lead, 21 seconds ahead of POC Cote de Lumière’s Jean Claude Uwizeye.
