Astana Pro’s Miguel Angel Lopez climbed to victory on the 149km third stage of the Vuelta a Burgos in Spain yesterday.
The Colombian completed the race in 3:59:30, beating Androni Giocattoli-Sidermec’s Ivan Sosa to the line. Team Sky’s David De La Cruz completed the podium 32 seconds later.

Lopez took the race lead, just two seconds ahead of Androni Giocattoli-Sidermec’s Ivan Sosa in second.
South Africa’s Louis Meintjes (Dimension Data) finished the stage in 13th and moved up to ninth on the general classification standings.
