South Africa’s Clint Hendricks has signed to join the German-based Bike Aid for the remainder of the season, the team announced yesterday.
Bike Aid is a UCI Continental team and also specialises in circuit races.

With the season beginning to conclude for most teams, Bike Aid will end their season off with several high-class races, including the Tour of Iran and Tour of Hainan.
The team said in a statement that they signed Hendricks – who claimed a bronze medal at this year’s Commonwealth Games – to play a key role in their lead out trains.
“Clint is a very fast guy and he proved that many times in South Africa and at the Commonwealth Games,” Bike Aid’s Timo Schäfer said in the statement.
“He will help us close the small gaps in the final 800m in our lead-outs for Lucas [Carstensen from Germany].
“We are looking forward to giving him the opportunity to show his strengths on an international level,” Schäfer added.
Hendricks has ridden for local team, BCX, since joining them at the end of last year.
