The ProTouch rider completed the 118km event in 2:46:08 to beat teammates James Fourie and Jayde Julius to the line.
Dormakaba’s Samantha Sanders claimed the women’s victory when she finished in 2:53:33. She was followed by Juanita Venter (3:02:02) and Zanele Tshoko (3:41:03).
Tiano da Silva (2:46:08) was first in the junior men’s competition with Monique du Toit (2:38:26) taking the spoils in the women’s category.
