The three-day Namaqua Quest MTB Stage Race started in Nababeep, north-west of Springbok in the Northern Cape, yesterday.

Stage one
The first stage consisted of 68km route for the mountain bikers doing the full race and a 39km course for those doing the lite event.

Stage two
Riders in the full event had to complete a 55km mountain bike race while those in the lite event got to enjoy a 35km route.
