South Africa’s Gustav Basson won the 120.6km third stage of the Tour de Maurice yesterday and with it he took the race lead.
The ProTouch rider completed the race in 3:26:43, beating UV-AUBE-CC-Charlott’s Clement Maertens in the final sprint. MCB’s Christopher Lagane rounded out the podium.

Basson took the general classification lead with a time of 9:11:20, 36 seconds clear of Lagane in second.
