Elia Viviani won the final Vuelta a Espana stage, while Simon Yates took the overall title in Madrid today.
The Quick-Step Floors completed the 100.9km course, which started in Alcorcon, in a time of 2:21:28. Bora-Hansgrohe’s Peter Sagan placed second, with Trek-Segafredo’s Giacomo Nizzolo in third.

Yates finished with a total time of 82:05:58 and became this year’s third British Grand Tour winner.
Quick-Step Floors’ Enric Mas placed second on the general classification, with Miguel Angel Lopez of Astana in third.
