Michael Woods secured victory on stage 17 of the Vuelta a Espana in Balcón de Bizkaia today.
The EF Education rider crossed the finish line of the 157km stage, which kicked off in Getxo, in a time of 4:09:48.

BMC’s Dylan Teuns claimed second on the podium, with Team Sky’s David de la Cruz in third.
Mitchelton-Scott’s Simon Yates kept his red jersey, with Movistar’s Alejandro Valverde second overall and Quick-Step Floors’ Enric Mas third.
