Team BCX’s Nolan Hoffman surged to a historical victory at the 106km Amashova Durban Classic today.
Hoffman claimed his seventh victory at the event, breaking Malcolm Lange’s record of a total six wins. He came out on top in the leading group – teammate David Maree, Luso AC/DC’s Calvin Beneke, Alfa Bodyworks-Giant’s Rohan du Plooy and officeguru racing’s Ryan Harris.
He won the race in 2:22:09, beating Du Plooy by one second. Harris completed the podium 41 seconds later.

Demacon’s Carla Oberholzer won the women’s race in 3:02:57, beating teammate Kim le Court into second and Cycle Nation’s Joanna van de Winkel third.
