Norway’s Jonas Orset won the inaugural 160km race of the Amashova Durban Classic at the weekend, while Johann Naude was the first South African home, finishing second overall.
Orset completed the race in 4:26:18, beating Naude by some two minutes. Jacques Human finished third and Mark Pretorius fourth.

Danielle van Graan won the women’s race in 5:09:08.
The longer version of the Amashova was introduced earlier this year and forms part of the Gran Fondo World Tour.
