Berg and Bush ‘Great Trek’ results & GC: Storbeck, Lotter win stage two

Eric Storbeck and Francois Lotter won the 62km second stage of the Berg and Bush ‘Great Trek’ at Em’seni in KwaZulu-Natal today.

The Team Chap pair completed the race in 2:47:24, beating Lost Boyz’s Jan-Hendrik Gutter and Lodewyk Lombard by almost a minute. Colin & Eugene’s Colin-Allan Germs and Eugene Beck completed the podium.

Fast Skinny L’asses’ Nicolle Weir and Catherine Albertyn won the women’s race in 3:23:40, while Team Big Box Mixed’s Junita and Gerhard Kruger took the spoils in the mixed category in 3:12:52.

Dean van Dyk won the solo men’s race, edging Carl Adendorff into second.
