Aluserve-Breedenet’s David Garrett and AJ Davids claimed the Cape Duo Challenge title after stages three and four concluded in Rhebokskloof, Western Cape, today.
Wolfpack 1’s Donovan Le Cok and John Wakefield won the 45km road race (stage three) today, but did not finish the 35km mountain-bike race (stage four).
The pair completed the road race in 1:15:00, beating Davids and Garrett by 50 seconds. Flandria Young and Old’s Phillip Botha and Linus van Onselen completed the podium.

Davids and Garrett won the MTB race in 1:36:43, beating Botha and Van Onselen into second. BMT’s Luyanda Thobegunya and Baphelele Mbombo got home in third.
Perf Heart Race Team 2’s Deon Brenner and Karin van Niekerk won the mixed duo race, while Breedenet’s Courteney Webb and Lehane Oosthuizen took the overall spoils in the women’s duo category.
