Philip Buys and Matthys Beukes reinforced their race lead after winning the 115km fourth stage of the Cape Pioneer Trek, which finished in Oudtshoorn today.
The PYGA Euro Steel pair completed the race in 4:23:13, beating Team Spur-Specialized’s Alan Hatherly and Simon Andreassen by less than a minute. NAD Pro’s Matt Beers and Gawie Combrinck followed in third.

Team Garmin’s Yolandi du Toit and Catherine Williamson won the women’s team category in 5:10:27, while Silverback Volvo Mad Macs Kawasaki’s Yolande de Villiers and Charlie McFall won the mixed race in 4:55:58.
