Nicol Carstens and Candice Lill won the respective men’s and women’s 66km feature race of the Elgin Valley MTB Challenge in Grabouw, Western Cape, yesterday.
Carstens completed the race in 3:06:50, beating Waylon Woolcock into second by just over a minute. Nicholas Lambrecht completed the podium.

Lill won the women’s race in 3:22:52, comfortably beating Katie Lennard into second, with Hanlie Booyens getting home in third.
Luke Moir (1:56:49) and Julia Marx (2:24:29) won the respective men’s and women’s 45km race.
