Jason Meaton and Tracey Campbell won the respective men’s and women’s feature events at the Steeltek MTB Race at Hopewell Conservation Estate in Port Elizabeth today.
Meaton successfully defended his title after crossing the line first in a time of 2:34:51. Second place went to Bruce Campbell, with Nick Cape in third.

Graham Taylor finished fourth, while Morne Knoetze came in fifth.
Campbell won her race in 3:07:52, with Ashley Mayhead in second and Charlotte Raybenheimer in third.
The 40km men’s race was won by Reinhard Strumpfer. Patrige Chimendow finished second and Reynier Pieterson third.
The women’s race was won by Hannah Oelofsen, who beat Mischelle Jolly and Jenne Williams to the line.
