Argentine professional Maximiliano Richeze won the opening stage of the Tour of Turkey in Konya today.
The Quick-Step Floors rider completed the 148.4km route in a time of 3:29:14.

Second place went to Bora-Hansgrohe’s Sam Bennet, with BMC Racing Team’s Jean-Pierre Drucker in third.
Richeze’s teammate Alvaro Hodeg placed fourth, with Delko Marseille Provence KTM’s Brenton Jones in fifth.
The 35-year-old Richeze also leads overall, with Bennett in second and Drucker third.
