Michael Vink and Tim Rush won the prologue of The Pioneer, which took place in Queenstown, New Zealand, today.
The pair completed the 20km route in 1:11:42, beating Sebastien Carabin and Ismael Ventura Sanchez into second. James Williamson and Scott Lyttle completed the podium, while South Africa’s Alan Gordon and Timothy Hammond placed fourth.

Josie Wilcox and Joe Skerman won the mixed time-trial in 1:28:37, beating Kate Fluker and Mark Williams into second and Fanny Bourdon and Jean-Francois Bossler third. South Africa’s Yolandi du Toit and Ben Melt Swanepoel finished seventh.
Amy Hollamby and Kate McIlroy won the women’s team race in 1:39:19.
