Matt Beers and Wessel Botha claimed the Wines2Whales Shiraz title after the third and final stage concluded in Hermanus today.
The NAD Pro completed the race with a final general classification time of 7:35:26, just less than three minutes clear of Spur-Specialized’s Alan Hatherly and Simon Andreassen in second.

Hatherly and Andreassen, however, won the final stage in 2:13:06, beating Waypoint-Leuven’s Frans Claes and Jasper Stuyven into second and Beers and Botha third.
Beers and Botha created a big enough buffer on stage one to win the title, despite losing out to Hatherly and Andreassen on both stage two and three.
