Cycling South Africa have released their calendar of national events for the 2019 season.
First up will be the opening SA MTB XCO Series event to be held in Stellenbosch on February 2.

The second event will take place in Bloemfontein on March 30, the third in Nelspruit on May 4 and the fourth in Pietermaritzburg from June 15 to 16.
The fourth event will comprise two races for riders to choose to participate in over the given weekend.
The national cross-country champs will take place at the Thaba Trails in Johannesburg on July 20.
The SA national road champs will take place in Pretoria from February 7 to 10, while the junior and youth road champs take place in Cape Town from April 26 to 29.
The SA national marathon champs this year merged with the Trailseeker Series event in Grabouw and a similar amalgamation between the two can be expected again in 2019.
The SA BMX national champs will take place in Gauteng from September 28 to 29.
