Cycling South Africa yesterday announced the 27-member squad to represent the country at the African Track Continental Championships in Pietermaritzburg, KwaZulu-Natal, next week.
The three-day event will take place at the Sax Young Cycling Track.

Steven van Heerden, who won the national points race and claimed the omnium title in Cape Town last month, was included among the elite men.
Jean Spies, who last year claimed six gold medals at the Conti track champs, will again take part.
Maroesjka Matthee, who won every discipline at the Joburg Grand Prix at the end of last year, was selected as one of the elite women.
