Jan Withaar and Kristen Louw won the respective men’s and women’s race at the Summer Fast One in Johannesburg today.
Withaar completed the 70km race in a time of 2:24:22 and was followed home by Timo Cooper and Wayne van der Walt, who finished in second and third respectively.

Louw defended her title after winning the women’s race in 2:36:15. Mariske Mclean placed second, with Bronwynne Swanepoel third.
The 40km men’s race was won by Konrad Spanig. Lenrt Coetzee finished second, while Travis Raath came in third.
Natalie Long won the women’s edition, beating Danelle Keulder and Nadia Thiessen into second and third.
