Matt Beers won the 10km prologue of the Knysna Bull in Knysna today.
The NAD Pro rider completed the course in 20:21, finishing faster than Nicola Rohrbach by almost a minute. HB Kruger placed third another 26 seconds back.

Sabine Spitz won the women’s time-trial, completing the route in 25:02, beating Samantha Sanders by 23 seconds. Jennie Stenerhag placed third.
Stakes are high for the four-day race this season, with only solo categories introduced and with the overall winner taking home a staggering R100 000 in prize money, while the second-placed rider walks away with nothing.
The best under-23 riders take home R10 000 each in the men’s and women’s categories respectively.
