“At approximately 6.30am a cyclist was training on the Kragga Kamma Road when he noticed a white Jetta parked on the side of the road with two occupants inside.”
Janse van Rensburg said as he approached the vehicle he noticed a man coming out of the bushes.
“As he passed the suspect, the suspect turned around and pushed him off his bicycle.”
She said the attacker grabbed the cyclist’s cellphone and ran to the parked vehicle.
They then drove off in the direction of Seaview having taken only the phone.
