Gert Heyns and Arno du Toit won the 83km first stage of the PE Plett, which started at Woodridge College and finished at Zuurbron today.
The DSV pair completed the stage in 3:06:06, edging Alfa Bodyworks/Square Group’s HB Kruger and Frans Claes by two seconds. Robert Hobson and Stuart Marais completed the podium.

Catherine Williamson and Conway Oliver won the mixed team category in 4:04:18. David Low (3:25:57) and Bianca Haw (3:57:00) won the respective men’s and women’s race.
Stephan Ferreira and Victor Skelton won the 66km Lite men’s team category in 3:16:00, while Melissa Swanepoel and Theo van Wyk finished first overall and won the mixed category in 3:05:23.
