Astana Pro’s Jakob Fuglsang won the Vuelta a Andalucia Ruta Ciclista Del Sol after finishing safely in the peloton on the 164km fifth and final stage yesterday.
The Dane finished with a final general classification of 17:42:00, finishing seven seconds ahead of his teammate Ion Izagirre Insausti, with Jumbo-Visma’s Steven Kruijswijk rounding out the podium.

Mitchelton-Scott’s Matteo Trentin won the final stage in 3:58:19, beating Euskadi Basque Country-Murias’s Enrique Sanz Unzue and Movistar’s Carlos Barbero in the final sprint.
