He finished the 55km men’s event in 2:12:54 to beat Gys Malan (2:25:38) and Michel De Clippel (2:33:55).
Lara Tennent (2:43:32) took the spoils in the women’s race. She finished ahead of Michalle Lombardi (2:51:22) and Ingrid Talbot (2:57:04).
The 24km men’s race was won by Ruben Oosthuizen in 55:26. He was followed by Daniel De Vynck (1:06:56) and Maurice Grapendaal (1:24:19).
Amanda Dixon took the women’s victory in 1:28:34, beating Wendy Kroger (1:30:29) and Cato Terblanche (1:39:45) into second and third respectively.
