UAE Team Emirates’ Fernando Gaviria sprinted to victory on the 184km second stage of the UAE Tour in Abu Dhabi today.
The Colombian completed the race in 4:36:32, beating Deceuninck-QuickStep’s Elia Viviani and Lotto Soudal’s Caleb Ewan in the final sprint.

Dimension Data’s Louis Meintjes was the highest-placed South African, finishing 85th.
The four riders part of the Jumbo-Visma, who won the team time-trial in yesterday’s stage, currently top the general classification standings.
