Tyronne White and Christie-Leigh Hearder won the Wartburg MTB Classic in Wartburg at the weekend.
White completed the 62km course in 2:24:33. Andrew Johnson crossed the finish line a second later, with Warren Price in third.
Fourth and fifth place went to Mazwi Smimango and Brennan Anderson respectively.

“Andrew and I are fairly evenly matched so after I got away early it just made sense to sit up and then ride together and work together,” said White.
“It is a tough course so it was good to be able to work together and make sure we could help each other to keep the other guys behind us.”
Hearder completed the women’s race in 2:48:27, with Debrah Thomas second and Tarryn Morgan third.
