SCOTT-SRAM’s Nino Schurter and Lars Forster won the 43km time-trial on stage four of the Cape Epic in the Oak Valley Estate today.
The pair beat Cannondale Factory Racing’s Manuel Fumic and Henrique Avancini into second by a minute-and-a-half, but it was not enough to take the overall lead. 7C CBZ WILIER’s Louis Meija and Johnny Cattaneo rounded out the podium.

Fumic and Avancini retained their overall lead, 1:14 clear of Schurter and Forster.
Specialized Foundation NAD’s Alan Hatherly and Matt Beers moved up a place into sixth overall to retain the red African jersey.
