Investec-songo-Specialized’s Annika Langvad and Anna van der Breggen claimed victory in the elite women’s 20km prologue of the Cape Epic, which started and finished at the University of Cape Town today.
The pair completed the course in 51:44, finishing ahead of Kross-Spur Racing’s Ariane Luthi and Maja Wloszszowska by about two-and-a-half minutes. Summit Fin’s Candice Lill and Adelheid Morath rounded out the podium.
