SCOTT-SRAM’s Nino Schurter and Lars Forster won the elite men’s 20km prologue of the Cape Epic, which started and finished at the University of Cape Town today.
The Swiss pair completed the course in 43:41, finishing faster than Cannondale Factory Racing’s Manuel Fumic and Henrique Avancini in second. Kross-Spur’s Sergio Mantecon Gutierrez and Ondrej Zink completed the podium.
