Nicholas Dlamini won the 7.6km prologue of the Cape Rouleur at the Berg River Dam in the Western Cape yesterday.
The Dimension Data WorldTour rider completed the route in 10:27.30, beating German Karl Platt by 10 seconds. Shameeg Salie rounded out the podium.

Briton Jayati Hine won the women’s time-trial in 12:37.48, beating compatriot Kirsty Anderson and Kayla Lubbe into second and third respectively.
