Miguel Angel Lopez climbed to victory on stage four of the Volta a Catalunya that finished in La Molina, Spain, today.
The Astana rider completed the 150.3km mountain stage in the Pyrenees, which kicked off in Llanars, in 4:02:07 and took the race lead from Thomas De Gendt.

Bora-Hansgrohe’s Gregor Mühlberger finished second, with Movistar’s Marc Soler completing the podium.
Lopez leads with a total time of 17:31:05, 14 seconds ahead of Mitchelton-Scott’s Adam Yates, with Team Sky’s Egan Bernal in third.
“The fight will continue, and I think I am in a good condition,” said Lopez.
The ascent that riders tackled was 12.1km long at an average of 4.7%.
