South African Calvin Beneke finished ninth on stage six of the Tour de Langkawi in Alor Setar, Malaysia, today.
The 130.8km stage that started in Bagan was won by Matteo Pelucchi (Androni Giocattoli-Sidermec).

Youcef Reguigui (Terengganu Cycling Team) placed second, with Mohd Hariff Saleh (Terengganu Cycling Team) third.
Craig Wiggins (St George Continental Cycling Team) finished fourth, while Travis McCabe (Floyd’s Pro Cycling) came fifth.
At the end of stage six the ProTouch team had achieved five top-10 finishes, two top-five finishes and one third place.
Kent Main is the top-placed South African overall (13th).
