The 200.1km stage, which started in Tanjung Malim, was won by Matteo Pelucchi (Androni Giocattoli-Sidermec).

Blake Quick (St George Continental Cycling Team) placed second, with Travis McCabe (Floyd’s Pro Cycling) completing the podium.
Fourth and fifth went to Mohd Hariff Saleh (Terengganu Cycling Team) and Michael Bresciani (Bardiani-CSF) respectively.
Kent Main (ProTouch) is the highest placed South African overall (13th).
