Stuart Marais and Tiffany Keep were the respective men’s and women’s winners in the third race of the KZN MTB XCO series in Pietermaritzburg on Sunday.
Marais completed the five laps in 1:09:12, with Henry Liebenberg second and Sithembiso Masango third.
Keep completed her race in the A-batch in 1:27:48.
Mazwi Smimango won the B-batch men’s race in 1:22:28, with Nicholas Burczak and Unathi Nxumalo second and third respectively.
The women’s race was won by Frances Janse van Rensburg in 1:31:22. Christie Hearder followed her home, while Chloe Bateson completed the podium.
