Alan Hatherly won the elite men’s title at the fourth round of the SA MTB Cup Series XCO in Mbombela, Mpumalanga, yesterday.
The U23 cross-country world champion beat Arno du Toit and Gert Heyns into second and third respectively.
Candice Lill won the women’s title, with Mariske Strauss placing second.
Daniel van der Walt and Zandri Strydom won the respective junior men’s and women’s races.
